Nutter’s Bulk and Natural Foods is Medicine Hat’s source for vitamins, bulk foods, healthy foods and more!  Nutter's was created from a vision of merchandising bulk and specialty foods in a clean, friendly, and customer service-oriented retail setting.  Over the past 27 years, Nutter's has evolved into a truly unique food retailer combining a commitment to the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle with exciting in-store merchandising.

At Nutter's, our perpetually trained staff are committed to ensuring you understand which health products are appropriate for you, why you are buying them and how to use them once you get them home.

Once you understand your body and how certain conditions and medications can affect it, you can move forward confidently toward choosing products that upgrade and maintain your very best health!

Nutter’s is also conscientious of the environment.  For over two decades, Nutter’s has practiced a “green philosophy”, even before it was “the thing to do”.  Now, as most people embrace ways to better protect our resources and our planet, Nutter’s is proud to introduce the “CHIP IN” Program, a way of emphasizing conservation of resources by encouraging customers to bring in their own bags when they shop.  

Each time a bag is reused, resources are saved.  Nutter’s now recognizes that effort by providing a Nutter’s CHIP at the checkout for every bag being reused.  A CHIP, valued at 5 cents, is provided to the customer for each bag they bring in for their own purchases.  The customers then choose from two local charity containers at the checkout.  When a charity container is full of Nutter’s CHIPS, the full amount is donated to that local charity by the Nutter’s team.  

At the annual Canadian Health Food Association Expo West and Conference recently held in Vancouver, Nutter’s was awarded “The Brock Elliot Award of Excellence”.  This award is presented each year to a Canadian health food retailer who represents the ideals of the industry.
